Hudson Historical Society presentation, Tuesday! Nov 19, 7:30 pm St James Church

The Hudson Historical Society is pleased to welcome back David O’Keefe, award winning author, historian and television personality. David’s presentation will focus on Canada’s regiment, the Black Watch Snipers, the subject of his new book titled ‘Seven Days in Hell’.

David R. O'Keefe is a historian, professor of history, television presenter, documentarian, creator, host, writer, producer and best-selling author and a local resident as well.

David presents history programs including the popular television show - War Junk . His passion to convey the Canadian military narrative to a wide-reaching audience has garnered much success. He has appeared on many television and radio networks, including: CBC Radio, Global Television, CTV Television Network, UKTV Network and History TV channel.

His November presentation to the HHS will be about the remarkable story of the Black Watch Snipers and their heart-pounding journey at the sharp end of combat during the infamous WW2 Normandy campaign.

Having David O’Keefe is an extra special treat as he is a renown best-selling author and war historian.
