(texte francais suit)The Hudson Historical Society is proud to announce the November meeting will feature a presentation about the Battle at Passchendaele by the award winning author and historian, David O’Keefe.

David R. O'Keefe is a historian, professor of history, television presenter, documentarian, creator, host, writer, producer and best-selling author and a local resident as well.

David O'Keefe presents history programs including the popular television show - War Junk . His passion to convey the Canadian military narrative to a wide-reaching audience has garnered much success. He has appeared on many television and radio networks, including: CBC Radio, Global Television, CTV Television Network, UKTV Network and History TV channel.

His presentation to the HHS in November will be a “sneak peak” at his latest documentary work, Buried War: Passchendaele, which focuses on artifacts from the battle of Passchendaele. One of the bloodiest battles of WW1, where many soldiers lost their lives, including 4,000 Canadians as well as 12,000 Canadian wounded.

This is not a presentation to be missed.
