The next meeting of the Hudson Historical Society will be held on Monday, September 8 at 7:30 p.m. in St. James Church Hall.

There will be an initial ‘special’ meeting held in the beginning where a vote will be held concerning an administrative change to the Hudson Historical Society’s charter (as mentioned in a previous eMail).  ONLY members in good standing may attend and vote at this meeting.  If you are in arrears, you may pay your dues at the door and participate in the vote, ALL others must wait outside the hall until this special meeting is concluded.

The second, regular general meeting, will be held afterwards.

Our guest speaker this evening will be Lt. Col. Colin Robinson CD (ret’d), his topic will be "Canada Responds: The story of Canada going to war 100 years ago, with formation of The Royal Montreal Regiment (RMR) as an example of the mobilization of the Canadian Expeditionary Force."

La prochaine réunion de la Société historique de Hudson aura lieu le lundi 8 Septembre à 19h30 a l'église St. James. 

! IMPORTANT! 

Il y aura une réunion spéciale initiale au début où un vote aura lieu au sujet d'une modification administrative à la charte de la Société historique de Hudson (tel que mentionné dans un courriel précédent). Seuls les membres en règle peuvent participer et voter lors de cette réunion. Si vous n'avez pas paye votre cotisation annuelle veuillez payer a votre arrivee a l'entree et puis par la suite participer au vote. 

Seul les membres peuvent participer a cette reunion extraordinaire : tous les autres doivent attendre à l'extérieur de la salle jusqu'à ce que cette reunion soit terminee. La deuxième assemblée générale ordinaire, aura lieu par la suite. 

Notre conférencier invité pour la soiree sera le lieutenant-colonel Colin Robinson CD (retraité). Le theme qu'il adressera sera «Le Canada répond: l'histoire du Canada en guerre il ya 100 ans, avec la formation du Regiment Royal Montreal(RMR) en tant qu'exemple de la mobilisation de la Force expéditionnaire du Canada ".
